Yes... my son, DEREK WELLS is playing ALL OVER this record, and I am SOOO proud of him!!
Actually, the very first thing you hear when you put this CD in your player is DEREK! And yes, when i put it in for the first time, I cried a little. This is the first major release he is playing on... (well, he IS playing on the new Darius Rucker single, "Radio", which is the #1 single on the Music Row charts right now, #12 on Billboard!!)) but this is Derek's first entire project to be included on.
And even though I may be a tad bias, I gotta say....I am extremely impressed with this CD! I never would have thought to call myself a "Scotty McCreery" fan, but dang... this is really well-done!
I'm so proud of my son and the work he has done on this record... ya'll go pick you up a copy!! I think you'll really love it!

DeleteCongratulations. Talent and hard work are the obvious ingredients for Derek and you. After seeing Scotty's performance on Leno, I became more than just a casual fan from AI. Is Derek also touring with Scotty. I might have to check the tour dates. Bless ya'll.
ReplyDeleteThank you Randall! No, Derek isn't touring with Scotty. Derek has been concentrating on just building up his studio career in town, and this record clearly shows he has been making wonderful strides toward his goal! I'm so excited for him!
