It's "Django Day"!!

Two years ago today, we found this little guy on our patio looking for someone to love him.  It was storming outside and he was sitting in the rain, soaked to the core and starving.  I brought him inside, dried him off, gave him some food and swore to my husband that we wouldn't keep him.  That I would just take care of him until I could find him a good home.  Well, I DID find him a good home...  :-)


Since I have no idea when his birthday is, I just celebrate March 31st, the day he came into our lives as "Django Day"....

Spring cleaning....

Been doing some spring cleaning.  Literally and figuratively.  There are alot of cobwebs that I didn't realize were there, but getting them out of the way should be a start towards some peace.  Looking behind the couch is scary, but when you get all the hidden dirt out of there, you sure feel better.

Control issues.

Spent the day with a friend who made me start to re-think some things.... maybe I need more help than I thought.  Unfortunately, a control-freak like me has a problem accepting help.   And the worst part is, I really thought I had gotten control of my control issues.  Sad, but true. 

Spring is officially here....

.... so i had to take down my "Let It Snow" front door decoration.  Won't see him again until December.  So Sad.

I gotta find a way to deal with the fast approaching summer.  Travel maybe?  Redecorating the house?   Something's gotta happen so I don't get completely depressed this year.  


Still praying for a publishing deal.... Lord, what's the hold-up?  :-)
