It's Your Choice....
God whispers in your soul and speaks to your mind.
Sometimes when you don't have time to listen,
He has to throw a brick at you.
It's your choice: Listen to the whisper, or wait for the brick.
Sometimes when you don't have time to listen,
He has to throw a brick at you.
It's your choice: Listen to the whisper, or wait for the brick.

Turner Lee
Turner Lee
http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/turnerlee
Mike and I just went through an extremely hard week, but after looking at little Turner Lee's pictures, and reading his story, I realize that what WE have endured is NOTHING compared to the week that Turner's family is going through. When I read of the faith that his parents have... unshakable faith that God's hand is in everything, I feel like the biggest failure, because I've been questioning God all week... 'Why God?? Why won't you help our family in this crisis??".... But after reading Turner's story, I realize that OUR crisis is NOTHING compared to what so many other's are going through. I feel like a spoiled, little baby for whining to God about my problems...... and not just trusting that He IS here with us, carrying us through our worries and taking us to a better place.
I don’t personally know Turner or his family, but a friend from church knows them and sent me the above link to his family blog. I can’t thank them enough for taking the time to document their strong faith during Turner’s brave battle. It helps people like me remember how blessed I am and gives me much needed perspective.
I will be praying for Turner and his family this weekend… as I also humbly express my gratefulness for my children’s health. My husband’s devotion. My parent’s love. A job I love, food on the table, supportive friends and family. A cool, refreshing breeze blowing through the open windows of my home. A changed heart.
I stand in amazement of a God who never fails us. Never.
Ya’ll have a GREAT weekend!!
Love you…. Marcia
